Autumn Meeting – This will take place on Thursday October 23 rd at 7.30pm at Widcombe C of E Junior School. Representatives of the Rossiter Road Scheme contractors and members of our local police team will be attending to speak to us.
Rossiter Road – We are assured by the contractors that the work on this is going according to schedule. Prior Park Road should be open again by the weekend, if not before you receive this communication! We would appeal to all our members to continue to use Widcombe shops and restaurants during this time to support our local traders.
Up-coming Events – Music in an Enchanted Garden 6th Sep.Cycle to Eat on Sunday 7th Sep.Chapels Walk on Sunday September 14th. The welcome return of this free, popular walk visiting the chapels of Widcombe.Garden Visit on Wednesday September 24th. The first event for the new Garden Club is a visit to Hazlebury Manor Gardens jointly organised by the Garden Club and WA Events.
Bath Burial Index – Phil Bendall has done an amazing amount of work on this. Information for the surveys of cemeteries has been combined with burial register entries to produce this composite index of burials in over 40 of Bath’s cemeteries.
