New Committee Member – We are delighted to tell you that David Maxwell, of David Maxwell Hairdressing, has been elected to the committee. David will be responsible for trader liaison. We look forward to welcoming him to our next meeting.
Transport Strategy – The committee discussed the WA response to the draft Transport Strategy. You can find out more by visitinghttp://www.bathnes.gov.uk/gettingaroundbath where you will find a full copy of the draft strategy and can make your views known by filling in the online questionnaire. The closing date for responses is July 25th.
Rossiter Road – With completion of the changes to Rossiter Road and Widcombe Parade due at the end of the year, we hope that it may be possible to organise a summer event in 2015 to celebrate our new look village high street. Discussions are ongoing, the main considerations being what size event we would like to see and, of course, the financial viability of such a venture.
Events – The Opera at Crowe Hall was a sell-out and the performance by Bath Opera and views from Crowe Hall gardens were greatly enjoyed. Thanks are due to David and Fiona Lees for allowing us the use of this wonderful venue. Thanks also go to Denise Coughlan and the Events Sub-committee for all their hard work organising this event.
