Eleven people attended a very constructive meeting in the Ring o’ Bells in Widcombe on 24th November to discuss ideas for the Widcombe Newsletter. Paddy Doyle, who has edited and compiled the Newsletter for 10 years, was in the chair and the meeting was attended by Chairman of the Widcombe Association Jeremy Boss, Widcombe-based media professionals and other interested residents. Paddy would like to hand over the production of the newsletter, but is willing to stay on pro tem until a new-look publication is bedded in.
There will be a further meeting of the group in the Ring o’ Bells on Thursday 14th January at 7.30 All Widcombe residents and WA members are welcome to attend, along with anyone else who feels they might have something useful to contribute.
