The practice was founded in 1860 as a single handed practice and has since grown to become a three and three quarter partner practice. The surgery moved in 1996 to a newly converted building in the heart of Widcombe. The surgery is one of 13 practices in Bath.

We accept patients from all over Bath, including Lansdown, Combe Down, Weston, Batheaston, Bathwick, Larkhall, Oldfield Park, Southdown; and the following areas outside of Bath: Peasedown St John, Winsley, Dunkerton, Hinton Charterhouse, Limpley Stoke, Midford, Wellow, Shoscombe, Freshford, Englishcombe, Priston, Saltford, Southstoke and Claverton.
