1 HERITAGE OPEN DAYS
The open days for cemeteries and chapels in Widcombe are happening between the 6 and 15 September. Not all of those who are opening are doing so at the same time or on the same dates. The dates and times can be found on the Widcombe Association website: https://widcombe-association.whitefuse.net/events/copy-of-local-cemetery-trail-heritage-open-day-2024
2 WIDCOMBE ASSOCIATION AUTUMN MEMBERS MEETING
The autumn meeting will be held on Wednesday 23 October at Widcombe Social Club starting at 7.30pm. There will be an update on the Committee’s discussions about the Future of the Association which will be followed by a talk from a representative of Julian House who will tell us about the work they do and the challenges they face. If any member wishes to raise an item of business please note that 14 days notice of this is to be sent to the Secretary at secretary@widcombeassociation.org.uk.
3 WIDCOMBE ASSOCIATION VERGE ENTHUSIASTS – WAVE
As mentioned in the July Talking Points we are asking members to volunteer to help with maintaining the verges at the Western end of Widcombe Parade. This doesn’t involve a regular commitment but if you can help sometimes it would be great. If you would like to help or just find out more please contact Colette at colettesylviahill@gmail.com.

5 REPORTING OF GULL ISSUES
There does seem to have been an increase in the number of gulls in recent months – if this has affected you then letting the council know will help them address the issue. Concerns can be reported via this link – https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/form/report-gulls
Best wishes
