The government’s Green Homes Grant Scheme enables householders and landlords to apply for a voucher towards the cost of energy efficient improvements to your home and also for installing renewable energy systems.
This can be used to cover two thirds of the cost of eligible improvements. Maximum government contribution is £5,000; or 100% of the cost for homeowners on low incomes (up to a total of £10,000 in this case).
