Citizens’ Advice Bureau Appeal
Many of us may have benefitted from the services of the Citizens’ Advice Bureau.
Sadly, due to funding cuts, our local branch of is under pressure. If you’d like to find out more and show your support for the service and the volunteers who give their time and expertise for no charge, please go to

Dorothy House Quiz Night

Fifteen Years of Choral Music by Cappella Nova
Friday 25th November, 7.30 pm, at St Matthew’s Church in aid of Read Around Bath and St Matthew’s Church Regeneration Project. Tickets £15, including a glass of wine, are available from the WA website.
Watch the Fireworks from Alexandra Park!
This is a great place for viewing the Bath Rotary’s firework display on Saturday at 7 pm. Alexandra Park will be closed to vehicles from the evening of Friday 4th until the morning of Sunday 6th November. There will be a Parks Officer on duty between 3-8pm on Saturday 5th November to admit cars with disabled badge holders. This year, Bath Rotary Club will be collecting for charity among the spectators who gather in Alexandra Park to watch the firework display on the Rec.
St Mark’s Community Centre Open Day
Connect with St Mark’s Community Centre by coming to their open days, the first of which is on Sunday 13th November from 4pm to 6pm, when you’ll have a chance to chat to the Trustees who are exploring options for the future of the building.
St Matthew’s Church Survey
St Matthew’s Church is launching a major project to refurbish and refit the church building over the next few years. The team taking this project forward would like to hear the views of local residents via an online survey, which will be available until mid-November:
