Residents Parking Consultation – deadline 24 May 2021
The Council has announced a consultation on whether to change the charging regime for on-street parking within Residents’ Parking Zones. There isn’t room here to set out the full proposals but these can be found at: https://democracy.bathnes.gov.uk/mgIssueHistoryHome.aspx?IId=31781&PlanId=770&RPID=31357153
The consultation itself can be found at: https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/travel-and-transport-consultations
Your committee would encourage you to read the proposals and respond to the consultation.
Subway progress and donation appeal
After a great deal of persistence by WA members the design selected in 2019 will finally be painted onto the subway under Claverton Street in June / July. This will transform this important pedestrian entry into the City from the South. We would like to increase the area that we can paint onto both walls and the slipways and need some more funds to achieve this. We are asking members if they would like to donate a small amount to help this happen. We are seeking to raise an extra £500. For more details and to donate please go to https://widcombe-association.whitefuse.net/pages/12-subway-appeal
Widcombe Association Magazine
The magazine is in production and will be dropping through your letter box from early next month.
Widcombe Art Trail – advance notice
This is planned for 28/29 August so please note in your diary. Further details in due course.
