Ward Boundary Review
The Local Government Boundary Commission for England has published revised proposals with respect to Bath in response to the many objections to its previous proposals. I am pleased to say that the Commission has taken on board pretty well all the points made by the Widcombe Association and numerous individual Widcombe residents. In short, our Ward is no longer proposed to be broken up. An outcome that satisfies everyone is an unrealistic expectation, but taken in the round the WA supports the current proposals for a new combined Widcombe and Lyncombe Ward.

Street Party 1 July
Arrangements for the Widcombe Street Party are in full swing. We are, however, in need of more gazebos, and so far as possible would like to avoid hire costs. If any member has a portable gazebo (or gazebos) they would be willing to lend, do please get in touch with Hilary Furlonger hfurlonger@gmail.com
