World War One Walk
Sunday 14 October – 2.15pm for 2.30 start. See local places connected to WW1 and hear stories of local people. £6 including tea and biscuit. Profits to British Legion. Attendance limited to 30, tickets via the link below.
Garden Club
Wednesday 17 October, 7.30 pm, Prior Park Garden Centre. £4 (£3 WA members) on the door. Kate Collins on growing salad leaves all year round.
Widcombe Association Autumn Meeting
Thursday 18 October – 7.30 pm, Widcombe Social Club. Guest speaker: Tom Boden on the National Trust Dam Restoration project at Prior Park. Free to members, others £3 on the door refundable by joining that evening. Glass of wine/soft drink and nibbles included.
Stone Mines Museum – Combe Down Heritage Society
Thursday 8 November – 6.45pm for 7.00. Combe Road, Bath. Talk by Martin Coulson (Chair Combe Down Heritage Society) and opportunity to view the exhibition. £8 including glass of wine/soft drink. Attendance limited to 40, tickets via the link below.
