RIVER AVON LITTER PICK – SATURDAY 29 MARCH
The Great Avon Litter Pick this year will be held on Saturday 29 March between 10 am and 12 noon. WA will once again be taking part in this event so please make a note in your diaries. If you are able to help please let Mike Wrigley know at chairman@widcombeassociation.org.uk.
CAN YOU HELP?
Widcombe Association could not function without volunteers and we are grateful to all those who already help but we will always welcome new people who wish to be more involved. The main committee meets on a monthly basis and basically co-ordinates all the activities of the Association. We are looking for new committee members to help in various roles.
In addition, the Events Committee is looking for volunteers to help organise the various events which the WA organises throughout the year. If you would like more information on what is involved please contact the secretary at secretary@widcombeassociation.org.uk
AND FINALLY – PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TRADERS
With Valentine’s Day approaching this will be a good opportunity to show your support for our local traders. You can buy flowers, cards, chocolates or whatever other gifts you would normally buy for your loved one at one of our local shops.
Best wishes
Mike Wrigley
Chairman
