The Mummers Winter Olympicks
New Year's Day 2012
The mummers' performance on New Year's Day marked a celebration in Widcombe-style of the original 'Cotswold Olympicks' first held in 1612 in Chipping Campden. This had featured 'singlestick, shin-kicking' and other events, some of which were faithfully re-created in Widcombe.

A total of £316 was raised from the audience for the benefit of our local churches:
St Thomas and St Matthews.
