Decorate your window or garden to celebrate Christmas in Widcombe
As we enter December our thoughts turn to Christmas. It is certainly going to be different this year with the world still in the grips of the COVID pandemic but we hope with a vaccine and return to normality next year.
It is even more important that Widcombe Welcomes Christmas in 2020 and we are encouraging households and businesses to dress a window or a front-garden so it is visible to passers-by. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy some extra cheer when walking or just looking down their street. Some Businesses on the Parade already have great Christmas windows.

We will upload any we see onto Twitter @widcombe_bath, our new Instagram page widcombeassociation and our revamped Facebook page @widcombe. If we get enough interest we will publicise across Bath and there will be a prize for the best Widcombe window/garden.
   
I am also delighted to confirm that the Widcombe Christmas Market will go ahead. It has been replanned for the weekend of the 12th and 13th December at the Widcombe Social Club. We have 24 local artisans selling their wares which will make fabulous Christmas gifts. Please support these and our Widcombe businesses by buying local this Christmas whether at the market, shops or on-line.
The Christmas trees in the Parade will be going up again this year organised by Nick Steel as usual.
