7.30pm at Natural Theatre HQ Widcombe Institute: Pavel Douglas in 'I Shot Dirty Den', his smash hit Edinburgh Fringe show.Pavel really did have Dirty Den shot in Eastenders and his account of that incident and other theatre and telly adventures in in turn hilarious and touching. The Guest Speaker will be Bath Chronicle Editor

Sam Holliday
Sam Holliday has been editor of the Bath Chronicle since September 2005, and in that time has led the paper to a number of awards and converted it to a weekly. He will talk about why that decision was made and why newspapers should be a force for good. He will also try to put a smile on everyone's face!

 This is also a Social Occasion—wine & nibbles provided!

Guest tickets £3 (refunded if you join the WA on the night)

29 May - 6 June A selection of walks, both sociable and historic, from the leisurely to the not-so-leisurely, most with tea at a secret venue!  Check this space!

The ladies choir from Chester – the ladies with the pink feather boas – are back for Widcombe Rising, and have again volunteered this fund raiser the night before.

Note there is only parking for disabled by arrangement (please phone 315491). THERE IS NO ACCESS POSSIBLE FOR OTHER CARS IN CHURCH LANE – so picnics will have to be carried. Parking is available at Prior Park Garden Centre.

Departing at 7.30 p.m. for a 2 ½ hour cruise from Sydney Wharf to Claverton and back.

Opera in the Mansion, Prior Park College
Bath Opera presents
Cosi fan tutte

This is Bath Opera's 7 th season for WA, but the first at Prior Park College. The steps and lawns in front of the mansion, with their fabulous views over Bath, will be open for picnics from 6pm and the performance will start at 8pm in the magnificent Academy Hall.
Please advise (tel 315491) of mobility problems to reserve parking immediately near the front door of the Mansion,but otherwise, picnics may be dropped off at the door, but please park in the school car parks.
Tickets £25 to include an interval drink.

Black tie preferred 
( as befits your elegant surroundings) but by no means essential.
